I know it can be a little weird walking into a new Church, and we want to help you feel comfortable the very first time. So, here's some useful information.
Here's what you can expect:
A FRIENDLY WELCOME
We don't ask visitors to stand and sing up front or anything weird like that. We're glad you're here, and people will talk to you and welcome you, but we want you to NOT be embarrassed.
A "COME AS YOU ARE" DRESS CODE
Some people dress up and some don't. No one looks at you any differently no matter what you're wearing - unless you show up in a clown suit. It's so hard not to stare at clowns.
AN INTERESTING SERMON
Pastor Darrell Underwood works to provide relevant and meaningful sermons. So, you can count on the sermon being both biblical and interesting.
NO MONEY PRESSURE
We look at it this way: you're our guest. We want you to RECEIVE encouragement from our service, not feel pressure to GIVE. In fact, we don't even take an offering. For our members and partners in ministry, we have a tithe and offering box mounted on the back wall.
GREAT MUSIC
We think the classic songs of faith still speak to people. So we still actually sing "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art" along with a mix of new songs as well.
